BRC Extension Due to Covid-19

We have successfully completed recertification according to the requirements of the BRC standard and have received the internationally recognised British Retail Consortium (BRC) Global Standards for Food Safety certificate. It serves as evidence of our product quality, good manufacturing practices and food safety, as well as positions us as a trustworthy business partner. As a result of the state of emergency declared due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the audit was executed through remote communication online. The certificate has been awarded for six months instead of the usual 12 months. An on-site audit will be performed within six months, provided that there is no state of emergency in the country. The recertification in this situation is very high recognition for Cannelle Bakery, as it is proof of our company’s ability to fulfil the strict requirements of the standard, as well as the additional requirements arising from Covid-19.
