Cannelle Bakery Awarded the Silver Medal in the Competition for the Best Packaging

9 September saw the international packaging competition Riga Food 2017 Packaging No. 1 come to an end, with Cannelle Bakery winning the silver medal for its packaging of mini pies. Participating in the competition were works that have already been entered in the Best Packaging in Latvia competition, organised by the Latvian Packaging Association with the aim of ensuring that packaging is designed and manufactured according to the requirements of the EU common market, supporting turnover of high quality packaging in Latvia, and promoting the development of environmentally friendly packaging. The competition works were not only judged by a professional panel but also voted on by the visitors of Riga Food 2017. Cannelle Bakery packaging for mini pies with smoked meat, which the consumers have noticed and approved of at Narvesen stores, complies with contemporary design standards and is easy to use. Now, it has also received a silver medal in tough competition not only between Latvian manufacturers but also internationally, because participants of the Riga Food packaging competition came from all Baltic countries, Poland, and Georgia.
