Cannelle Bakery at the Winter Fancy Food Show

From 13 to 15 January, Cannelle Bakery participated in the Winter Fancy Food Show, one of the largest food fairs in the USA, which took place in San Francisco. More than 1400 companies from all over the world participated in the fair. We were glad to see our stand of Latvian entrepreneurs, which was organised within the European Commission’s programme Sweets2States and promoted with the slogan “Enjoy! It’s from Europe”, so well visited and attracting potential buyers. In this trade fair, Cannelle Bakery offered bagels, which are a well-known and beloved product in the USA, where the market is crowded with strong competitors. The advantage of Cannelle Bakery’s bagels is that they are made using a special technology, which is pending a US patent. Our bagels come frozen and contain only natural ingredients without sugar or fat. After receiving praise for our bagels in the USA last year, this time around we offered bagels with onions, sesame seeds and raisins, as well as pumpernickel bagels. Our products received nothing but positive feedback, which is a good motivator and challenge for tackling the US market.
