On the evening of April 8, the Saldus Music and Art School building held a solemn annual award ceremony for entrepreneurs of the Saldus region, where the entrepreneurs of the Saldus region were honored in seven nominations. We, Cannelle Bakery, won the nomination "Confectionery Manufacturer of the Year". We were especially pleased with this award because the applicants for the competition were submitted by the residents of Saldus themselves, and this year there were 39 applicants in four nominations. In March, the competition's evaluation committee selected three applicants in each nomination, which they visited in person to evaluate the company's operation, investment attraction, creation of new jobs, quality of manufactured products or services, originality, environmental cleanliness and other aspects. Cannelle Bakery, as the manufacturer of Sweets of the Year, was able to make sure that the award was earned at the exhibition "Made in Sweets in the Province", where throughout the day we received positive words about our products from the visitors of the exhibition.
