Cannelle Bakery hopes to expand export opportunities in Canada

Ivars Skrebelis, chairman of the board of Cannelle Bakery, together with the representative of the Latvian company Pefecto, Haralds Siliņš, and the commercial director of the Canadian embassy, ​​Irēna Cīrule, participated in the trade mission to Canada.

During the mission from April 26 to May 1, in the diverse program, extensive information on the Canadian market was obtained and opportunities opened up by the Canada-EU free trade agreement were evaluated. Its practical aspects were discussed during a visit to the Ontario Chamber of Commerce, as well as in meetings with representatives of foreign trade from the Niagara Region, with specialists from the Food and Wine Institute of Canada at Niagara College and many others, including representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Province of Ontario at the SIAL Canada exhibition.
