The President of Latvia visits Cannelle Bakery

On 4 May, the president of the Republic of Latvia Raimonds Vējonis arrived in Saldus on his regional work visit. During his visit, the president was introduced to the Cannelle Bakery manufacturing process and met with the company’s management. This visit allowed us to introduce the president to our company, its operational directions and development vision, as well as to discuss challenges and potential solutions that could promote the competitiveness of Latvian companies not only domestically but also internationally. “Today, during my visit to Saldus Municipality, I realised that even small and medium Latvian companies can have good success in exporting their products not only to the Baltic states but also to other European Union countries and beyond. At the same time, Latvian entrepreneurs can create new solutions for developing niche products and bringing their own added value to products already found on the market,” said Raimonds Vējonis.
