Cannelle Bakery`s success at the Gulfood 2021 exhibition in Dubai

One of the world's largest and most popular food industry exhibitions, Gulfood 2021 in Dubai,  this year took place in the challenging conditions of the Covid 19 pandemic. This year, 85 countries participated in the exhibition, which took place from 21 to 25 February, and Cannelle Bakery offered its products at the Latvian joint stand together with the other five Latvian food producers. Cannelle Bakery offered bagels, curd balls with various fillings, cinnamon buns, egg-spinach buns and "Biezpiennelle" for the evaluation of the global market. It is thrilling that "Biezpiennelle" achieved great success at the exhibition, winning a place in the list of products nominated for the most innovative products and, as a result, receiving a finalist diploma. It is highly regarded at a global exhibition such as Gulfood 2021 in Dubai. Although the intensity of visitors to the exhibition was lower this year due to high safety and hygiene requirements, we made sure that the products offered by Cannelle Bakery were attractive to potential customers, who showed a genuine interest in further cooperation. The newly acquired business contacts and also the high evaluation in the competition of the most innovative products are the satisfaction of the exhibition and the basis for further work in increasing the export turnover.
