Cannelle Bakery in Anuga 2019

Cannelle Bakery participated in the Anuga 2019 trade fair, which took place in Cologne from 5 to 9 October. This year the Anuga 2019 trade fair celebrated its 100th anniversary; since its creation in 1919 it has grown into one of the largest food industry trade fairs in the world. The Anuga 2019 trade fair brought together 7590 participants from all over the world, including 50 companies from Latvia. This was the third time that Cannelle Bakery participated in this trade fair (it takes place every 2 years), but the first time when we exhibited our products in the Frozen Food Hall. We are very pleased both with this opportunity and with the results of the trade fair, as the share of frozen food in the global food industry is growing rapidly; Cannelle Bakery was one of nearly 600 companies that offered their frozen products at this trade fair. This enabled us to position our products internationally in a much more purposeful manner and to find potential customers. At the Anuga 2019 trade fair we offered products that best match current market trends and consumer demand. Anuga 2019 was the first trade fair in which we used a product stand to show our product range in real life. This type of stand will be used again in other important, future trade fairs. The range of products, however, may vary depending on which products are in demand in a particular region.
